Pregnancy Update – Week 25

I like to think I’ve had a fairly easy and straight forward pregnancy. I didn’t get much sickness and very luckily, since I have a phobia of puking, never threw up once. I’ve not had any scares or usually much pain. The constant peeing has been a drag though, but when isn’t it? Peeing is such a boring task anyway.

This week, however, has been the hardest for me so far. The pain I feel in my pelvis and lower areas in general is horrible. I feel like our little Peach is stretching and kicking anything she can.

Really, I’m counting my blessing that it’s only been very recently causing me discomfort as I’m aware some mothers deal with this all the way through pregnancy. Doesn’t make it any easier when getting up to pee at 3 in the morning with a terrible pain and having to waddle to the toilet, which for us is downstairs.

One up side, her hiccups have gone from at least once a day to only a couple of times this week. Those little tiny hiccups feel like the strangest thing, almost like when you get that uncontrollable twitch in your eye, but in your pelvis. Pregnancy for sure is a weird one.

Here’s hoping next week I’ll be back to my easy, breezy pregnancy again. If not I’ll be relocating our bedroom to the living room, so I don’t have to face those darn stairs ten times a night!

    1. Thank you lovely! I’m thankfully feeling much better this week. I’ve been staying in bed hoping that would help me, turns out I need to just be moving around the house a little more not doing too much nor too little. Hard finding that balance, but it’s getting easier. We are super excited and each one of her little movements makes it all worth it. Thank you for the lovely comment xx
