Have you ever slowly swallowed a ball of lava? No? Well neither have I, but I sure feel like I have. Or the baby is some sort of mini torturer and is using her tiny flamethrower on my insides.
Heartburn has quickly become the bane of my life this week. Before I’d maybe have it once a week and it could be easily soothed (ugh, chewable Gaviscon anyone). Now though, nothing I’ve tried will ease it and it’s for a long time too. I’ve drank so much milk you could probably send me to a dairy farm and they wouldn’t know the difference. Especially since this week it feels like I’ve put on more weight than I have the whole pregnancy, so I more than ever resemble a farm animal. I wish I’d kept a better track of it, but because of previous weight issues I’ve been desperate not to focus too much on the numbers and just have a happy healthy pregnancy.
I don’t seem to be as tired as previous weeks, but personally I’m tying this in with the fact my routine has been much improved (except the night loo runs. Blogging has given me something to do, instead of being bored and wallowing in my pit I’m getting out more and enjoying myself again.
I’ve officially entered my waddling stage. I feel like those old children’s toys, a Weeble. ‘Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down’, except I do fall down.
We bought our pram this week! It’s the Silver Cross Wayfarer, with the pink colour pack. It had a £250 price drop due to them remaking it with silver matte details, instead of the shiny details it currently has. Crazy? Damn right, but we saved all that money and got the parasol and away liner. We didn’t get the matching car seat, as I wasn’t keen on the style and it’s a lot heavier than other car seats we’ve tried.
This week we only have 10 weeks left until her due date! Are you as excited as I am about her name announcement? I’ll be posting it very soon!
