Glossies, listen up…

‘It’s the start of the new ‘beauty’ school year and our expertly curated edit of 6 products will help you to prep and get organised this September. Whether you’re heading back to work, university or tackling the dreaded school run, these handbag essentials are perfect for a quick fix before you hurry out the door, or while you’re on the go. Beauty school kicks off with a brow and lip masterclass – get back on track and define your features with two products in this edit. You’ll even learn how to detox your skin and also your scalp for stronger, healthier hair growth with two more of our September picks.’

This month’s box is another box that smells gorgeous as soon as you open it. We’re back to the original pretty pink box design, which is great for me as I just needed one more for my shelves to be complete. I store all of my makeup in them and just needed an extra one. The theme does run right through all the products and are all perfect for on the go.

Beauty Pro Bubbling Mask

‘We know that September can be a tiring time so we’re bringing you this award-winning sheet mask to revive skin. Using activated charcoal (a miracle worker for blemish prone skin) and extracts of lime, lemon, apple, orange and grapefruit, this mask is a wonder for detoxing your skin, refining pores and reducing oil! Sit back and relax while the mask bubbles to create a micro massage which works deep into your pores and cleans away blackheads. This mask is dermatologically tested and cruelty-free too.’

I love a good foaming mask! They are definitely my favourite type. I haven’t tried this one yet, as it’s only one use so I like to have a pamper day where me and some friends can try a few different sheets masks and relax. Keep an eye on my Instagram for future thoughts.

Wild Garden Body Mist (Waterlily)

‘This brand new body mist is a handbag or desk essential for a quick freshen-up. With notes of pear, water lily and warm amber, it will transport you to a beautiful wild garden. Spray over your body and clothes whenever you need a refreshing, floral spritz.’

I’m going to be real with you, this is very possibly the prettiest smelling body mist I have smelt. I am adding this to my baby change bag so I can take it everywhere with me. The scent lasts for so long too, I sprayed it before I went shopping and couldn’t stop smelling myself all day! I bought two new body mists the day before I received this and they’ve already been put on my shelf for later.

Bang Beauty Eyebrow Cream (Milk Chocolate)

‘Nothing gives you a confidence boost more than a powerful brow. This Eyebrow Cream has a velvety consistency that applies effortlessly so you can get HD brows at home. It also comes with an angled brush for applying thick, defined brows that stay in place day and night.’

I’m not a brow product kind of girl, but this is surprisingly really good for a novice. I have stuck this in my everyday makeup bag. This cream is long lasting and didn’t just rub off throughout the day. It helps that the little tub and brush is adorable.

Karl Lagerfeld + Model Co Lip Liner (Rosewood)

‘Lining your lips is essential for defining and prolonging the wear of your lipstick. Now you can enhance your pout with this soft wax lip pencil. We love the creamy formula and subtle colour too. Apply directly to the contour of your lips to create the illusion of a fuller pout.’

My perfect shade for a liner, or lipstick. The formulation is like most liners I use, soft and creamy. It doesn’t feel sticky on my lips, you could actually just wear this as an all over colour.

Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox

‘Scalp detoxing should be a regular part of your regime. The pomegranate enzymes and natural castor oil beads remove impurities that block your roots to create the perfect environment for healthy hair growth. We also love that it’s vegan friendly and cruelty-free. Use 1-2 times a week as a pre-wash treatment.’

This has a really unusual smell to it. It’s not bad in any way, but I can’t quite place my finger, or nose, on what it is. I kind of think it smells a little like vapor rub in the nicest possible way. Maybe it’s just the way it’s so fresh. Anyway, I can’t wait to give this a try.

Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes

‘Whether you need to freshen up or clean up, these handy wipes are an on the go must-have. They kill 99.9% of bacteria and are gentle, dermatologically tested and pH balanced meaning they are suitable to be used on your hands, body and the kids too.’

I mean there isn’t too much you can say about wipes, apart from they cleaned all the swatches from my hand effortlessly and they smell nicer than any other wet wipes I have used. These are funnily enough the only thing I will be repurchasing from this month’s box.

I think this month’s box has been my favourite so far. I’m genuinely going to use everything that I received in it and all the products smell fantastic.
