Glossybox Review – June French Riviera

First things first (I’m the realest) as soon as I opened this months box I noticed how utterly fantastic it smells. I’m not sure which product it is, but wow.

This month Glossybox are heading to the French Riviera with the theme, bringing us chic and sophisticated French beauty essentials. Ooh la la!

Also, this month Glossybox partnered with Remington to give five lucky glossies a chance to win one of their new ProLuxe hairstylers. They’ve placed 5 golden tickets inside random boxes. Unfortunately not in mine, did you find one in yours?

Laritzy Cosmetics Shade Stix

From French-Canadian brand Laritzy, comes this shade stix bronzer/cream contour. Highly pigmented and totally creamy. Sadly the shade is far too dark for my pale self that all the blending in the world couldn’t do this justice on my face.

Mini Skin Eye Cool Gel

Say ‘au revouir’ to dark circles with this refreshing gel that instantly revived and tones tired eyes and reduces puffiness. Perfect for me, since little newborn peachy girl is keeping me up all the hours she possibly can. I’ve been using this with my Real Techniques under eye reviver ball ad it really does instantly make my eyes feel soothed.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Scrub Fox

A triple action facial polish with a fresh grapefruit scent to refine and brighten your skin. This has earned a spot in my skin care routine after just a couple of uses. I’ll be repurchasing as soon as this runs low.

Novex Mystic Black Deep Hair Mask

I think this could be what the lovely smell I was hit with when I first opened the box. Apart from anything else, of this makes my hair smell even close to what it smells like in the packaging it’s already a winner. Aiming to leave your hair feeling hydrated, free of frizz, tangled and split ends this hair mask is enriched with baobab oil which is highly moisturising.

Gatineau Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

A gentle oil-free, formulated with cucumber, green tea and aloe vera eye makeup remover really does gently remove even waterproof eye makeup. Just add to a cotton wool pad and allow the cooling liquid to dissolve your makeup. Anything with aloe vera is already in my good books and this was instantly added to my makeup bag after one use.

Honestly, this wasn’t my favourite box to date. I’m going to use 4/5 of the products, and it’s always good to find new products to try I just wasn’t blown away.

I haven’t had a glossy box for ages, but this looks fab. Shame the contour stick is too dark. Have you tried it and blended with a damp beauty blender as I do with my Clinique one and blends lovely. I love the monu range, the kids got me a monu set the mother’s day before last and loved the products
