Illamasqua, Animatter Lipstick – Nebula

The perfect clutch bag accomplice for your Halloween party, this cruelty-free lipstick from the British beauty brand with an edge will suit every outfit. The cushioned finish glides effortlessly onto your lips for an on-trend semi-matte finish. We’re smitten with this girly, bright and beautiful shade of pink that suits all skin tones. It’s an incredibly flattering hue so your pearly whites shine brighter and whiter too.

I’ve used Illamasqua products a few times before and do highly rate them. Their products are for sure worth paying out for. The packaging is gorgeous, very sleek and high-end looking. I love lipsticks with the squared tube. The product is pigmented, long-lasting and for semi-matte it feels light on my lips… buuut, it’s definitely not the shade advertised on the box or tube! They both show a strikingly bright pink, whereas the stick and swatch is a purple and nothing like the pictures. Weird.

MUA Makeup Academy, Luxe Strobe & Glow Highlight Kit – Pink Luster

Skin is forever in, but this season it’s all about luminescent radiance. Get your glow on with this vegan friendly and cruelty-free strobe and highlight kit that’s featured in videos by famous YouTuber NikkieTutorials. The 2 in 1 compact, includes cream and powder highlighter so can achieve an intense, iridescent look in a single swipe! Apply to areas that catch the light – think cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and your Cupid’s bow.

More gorgeous, gorgeous lust worthy packaging this moment. I rarely use highlighting products, but my oh my, I LOVE this little kit. I can’t comment on the wearability of it, yet, as I have only swatched it. Silly butt me didn’t realise it had a cream product underneath and stuck my chubby finger in it! I’m going to put it out there and say it’s the best highlighting product I have received from Glossybox (and I’ve gotten a fair few).

Luna By Luna Cosmetics, Translucent Powder – Loose

Hailing from New Jersey, this cruelty-free setting powder sets your makeup to keep your skin smooth for hours. We’re in love with the lightweight formula that soaks up excess oil while softening fine lines and hiding pores. We recommend using a beauty blender to apply the translucent powder to areas you’ve concealed to help your makeup stay fresh.

Another product I’m not a big user of is loose powders. I’ve got a go to setting powder, which I only use occasionally as I don’t need one with my everyday makeup. I like the teeny ?pad? That comes with it and I think based on the fact the whole product is adorable and the packaging will look cute on my dressing table, I will be adding this to my makeup bag to try out properly.

This Works, In Transit Camera Close-up

You’ll be ready for your close-up. With this cruelty-free mask, moisturiser and primer in one. The powerful blend of repairing plant oils, Hyaluronic Acid, Arian and Starflower Oils plus a hit of Caffeine, result in a revitalising formula. This is the prefect way to rapidly erase the signs of fatigue, boost hydration and to prep your skin for photo perfect make-up.

I am right at the end of my favourite moisturiser, so this little 3 in 1 has arrived at the right time. It boasts big things, claiming to be a mask, moisturiser and a primer in one! I’m really looking forward to trying it and finding out for real if ‘This Works’.

Sleek Makeup, Eyeshadow Palette – Oh So Special

Swap your summer shades for moodier, autumnal hues with this full-size cruelty-free palette. The 12 super pigmented, long-lasting, mineral based shades cover all bases from smoky and sophisticated to daytime chic. We adore the combination of matter and pearlescent shades that” keep you bang on-trend and provide a whole host of possibilities for a sultry Halloween eye look.

Firstly, I have to mention that the mirror inside this palette could be the clearest mirror I have ever seen. I don’t know if this is a great thing or a terrible thing. I’d rather use my old grubby mirror, we all know I do not need to see my face in such clarity. I’ve not used sleek products much before, but this palette has shades that will fit nicely in with my regular eyeshadow palettes.

We can’t keep it a secret any longer… our November box features a full-size Liquid Matte Lipstick from HUDA BEAUTY worth £18. We are obsessed with these sultry shades and cult collection.

Ooh, ooh, oooooh! I am so down for this. I have yet to try HUDA BEAUTY, but hear really great things about the brand.

Final Thoughts

Surprisingly, this month is my all time favourite Glossybox. As it’s a ‘Halloween’ themed box, I was expecting bright and dramatic items. I think every item I received this month will be used. Happy Halloween Glossies, I hope you all got a treat with this month’s box.

I used to have a Flossybox subscription a few years ago but cancelled it because it got a little Sandy, but looking st the products you’ve received it appears they’ve stepped up their game a bit! That loose translucent powder 😍

I have really enjoyed Glossybox, but I cancelled last month myself. Everything was indeed very samey. I’ll probably subscribe again in the new year if the boxes look a little more switched up. The powder looked so cute! X
